The only anorexic Pope of the History – Pius V – had the most glamorous cook of the Renaissance – Bartolomeo Scapi. The film relates the story of the first illustrated cookbook (Opera, written by Scappi): it was published thanks to the generosity of the Pope who financed the publication.
